Office Policies
- We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or a fee will be applied.
- Due to limited seating please only bring one adult guest along with you for the examination.
- Some appointments may require your eyes to be dilated. Please be prepared to have assistance traveling home or take public transit. Sunglasses may be helpful as you will be light sensitive as well.
- Most appointments require a valid OHIP card at the time of appointment.
- It is preferred that you do not attend an appointment wearing your contact lenses. Please wear your glasses, your contacts can be inserted after your exam.
- Please provide us with a list of medications if you have never visited us before or your medications have changed.
- If required, you must be accompanied with a translator.
- If you are coming in for a LASIK consultation you must not wear your soft contact lenses for 24 hours prior to the appointment or your hard contact lenses for 1 month prior to your consultation.
- Although we strive to assure wait times are minimal, some appointments may require lengthier visit time. Please allow 1-2 hours for your appointment.

Financing
At Skouras Eye Centre, one of our goals in addition to excellent patient care and excellent results, is to make better eyesight affordable for everyone. For your convenience we accept cash, cheques, credit and debit cards. In addition, we offer financing through Medicard for laser vision correction procedures. If you think you want to finance your laser vision correction procedure, you can apply to Medicard online and find out within minutes if you are approved.
